Cedar Creek Wildlife Hospital
The hospital is a work in progress as we gather equipment and supplies to provide treatment for sick and injured wombats as well as other wildlife.  The ability to provide the majority of medical treatment and perform diagnostic tests on site greatly reduces the stress that an animal would experience if a car trip to a veterinary clinic were needed.. We would like to thank Australian Geographic whose fund raising has provided for the caravan which creates a climate controlled facility to house medical equipment as well as an intensive care unit.  As it is mobile, the hosptial can be taken on site if needed or moved in the event of a bush fire.  We would also like to thank Wombat Crossing Vineyard, a local Hunter Valley winery, for the generous donation of a new microscope and also for their continued fund raising toward new equipment.  The recent purchase of an anaesthetic machine made possible by Ian Napier and the members of Wombat Crossing Wine Club has already proven invaluable.   Radincon X-ray has donated a portable x-ray machine as well as radiographic plates and film which is greatly appreciated.   All of this equipment is proving invaluable and we are continuing our search for more diagnostic tools and aids in order to provide the best possible care for our patients.  We would also like to say a special thanks to Louise Hicks and Chris Jackson for their generous and continued support of Cedar Creek Wildlife Hospital and also for their constant advocacy for wombats.  And to Gillian Potts and Marina Kijl who continually support our organization.

A huge thanks Richard Chalmers and Around Hermitage Association and Ian Napier's Wombat Crossing Vineyard for their recent donation of a portable generator.
